Knight of the Year 2018

The Knights of Columbus at Queenship of Mary Church in Plainsboro, NJ demonstrate Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism in all we do for the parish and the community.

Knight of the Year, Sir Knight Henry Wieck

Henry embodies all the attributes of being a Knight of Columbus.  He lives Charity in his everyday life and as an example to his brothers.  He has used his skills to unite in the group to fund charitable works.  He holds the “corporate” knowledge on how to get things done properly within the council.  Henry has been a constant presence on most of our Knights activities in training the new guys and giving reasons why things happen a certain way.

Henry has volunteered for most Knights events throughout this Columbian Year.  He organizes the food purchase and preparation for our sales events in the summer and the parish picnic.  He is the key organizer for the pancake breakfasts.  He has presented to the Knights on the history of our council for a very productive recruiting session.  Henry is welcoming to all in our council and always looking to recruit new brothers.  Henry goes over and beyond service to the council and to our parish.  SK Henry Wieck is our council’s Knight of the Year.
